As part of the GEF Small Grant-funded “Capacity-building project for women farmers in the Diender area for better pesticide management” project, PAN Africa organised two awareness-raising sessions in the villages of Keur Mactar and Ndam Lô.
These two sessions were attended by over 100 rural women. The main themes were the impact of pesticides on health and the environment, and the existing alternatives such as agro-ecological practices.
