The meeting was attended by delegates from several countries, industry, the private sector and civil society organisations. PAN Africa, which has been involved in the SAICM process since the negotiations, also took part in this important meeting.
The meeting is expected to continue discussions on a possible post-2020 platform for chemicals and waste management before the fifth session of the International Conference on Chemicals Management (ICCM5).
